The connectors will deliver highest electrical and mechanical performances under heat, vibration and other extreme environmental conditions. They are specifically designed for demanding applications where dust, dirt, moisture, salt spray and rough terrain can contaminate or damage electrical connections and systems. Connector housings are able to stand up to environmental conditions. Connectors are built to withstand the force and shock of hard impacts that connectors face in rough environments. High-grade thermoplastic connectors are lightweight and are engineered to be flame resistant and extremely chemical resistant. Different connector body materials are available to meet diverse application requirements. Wireless Connectors The next generation technology advancement will be “real wireless power transfer (WPT)” at a distance. TIEA leverages this technology advancement for reduction and simplification of wiring harnesses in automobile industry. With the increase in sensors and other features in automobiles, it is important to simplify the wiring harnesses thereby reducing the amount of copper used for in-vehicle communications. With the implementation of WPT technology in the automobile wiring harness, TIEA aim to achieve the following: 1) At least 50% weight reduction in the existing harness designs. 2) Easier and faster assembly of harness by OEM’s. 3) Cost reduction in the entire supply chain for OEM’s. FR Grade Connectors With growingly demands for better performances in electronic connector applications, further improving thermal and fire safety of nylon becomes extremely pressing. TIEA fabricates flame retardant and thermally stable and conductive Nylon composites by using different fire retardants. TIEA connectors have lower ignition susceptibility. The FR agent will form an isolating carbon layer around the nylon and restrict the further fire and thus reduce smoke emission Automobile/Electronic Connectors TIEA designs, develops & manufactures various types of electronic and automobile connectors and terminals.
